Hi! Today I am
going to talk about the topic of English language challenges
I would say that my experience in the university learning English has not been the best. I think the organization compared to other subjects is a bit bad. In the same way, there are no evaluation rubrics and no feedback to know what to improve.
In general, I did
like the classes, and the two teachers I have had as well. But, what happened
to me in this English is that my participation was lower. In the previous
English, the teacher interacted and went 1 by 1 asking questions and making us
participate in the activities. I am quite shy, and if they do not name me, I do
not dare to participate in classes. Perhaps I like the first method more,
because it makes everyone participate and learn equally, removing the
differences by participating or not.
Blogs in my
opinion is the best that English has, it allows you to write and express
yourself on a certain topic which is good and fun. In addition, blogs allow you
to meet other people and interact a little more with people you do not know.
What would
improve in English, would be to deliver evaluation and feedback rubrics to know
what one is wrong, and learn from those mistakes.
The only thing I
use English for is to speak suddenly, with small sentences mixed in the way that
I speak. Also, most of the music I listen to is English, and I like to
translate these songs.
I agree with your opinion about participation
ResponderEliminarIt happens to me exactly the same as you, I am too shy and the only way I would speak in classes and participate is if they spoke to me directly
ResponderEliminarI agree with all that you say about the English class. It was not the best English class.
ResponderEliminarI also think that the feedback is important because that way we will know what things are wrong
ResponderEliminarYes, the organization have to be better ):
